Continuing Masters

An effective teacher needs to be involved in professional growth.  By continuing my education as a teacher it helps my students a great deal. It is also important to be involved in conventions and seminars. By doing these things you involve yourself in life long learning, current practices, and collaboration. All of these things lead to new and improved teaching strategies that help my classroom run to the best and most efficient way.  

Artifact 1:

Artifact 1 is an in-service that I will be conducting in Watertown for all of their elementary teachers. I will be teaching them on the different tools that the SMART Board offers. Never doing this before it will be a great reflection for me as a teacher that uses this technology in my classroom. Also by doing this I will be in collaboration with the Watertown Teachers.

Artifact 2:

I will be continuing my education beginning this fall with the courses for administration. By doing this I will be continuing my professional growth and learning. While taking this courses to complete my second masters I will have a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with professors and other teachers.
